Questions about joining, contributions and leave without pay

Payroll at Police National Headquarters looks after some aspects of the scheme. Contact your Payroll Officer with questions about:

  • joining the scheme
  • contribution deductions from your pay
  • leave without pay.

Resolving complaints

We are always looking for ways to improve our service to you. If something has gone wrong, we want to know. Please send an email to derek.vincent@mercer.com and tell us what has happened and how we can resolve matters. If you have any documents or correspondence that will help us understand your complaint, please attach them to the email.

When we receive your complaint, we will:

  • acknowledge your complaint within 1-2 days
  • gather and evaluate information about your complaint
  • respond to you within 20 working days.

Disputes resolution service

If you have made a complaint to us and it has not been resolved within 2 months or if you are dissatisfied with the proposed resolution, you can refer your complaint to Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL) a financial ombudsman service. FSCL is an independent external ombudsman and dispute resolution service approved by the Minister of Consumer Affairs under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008.
